Just so Mike doesn’t take the bullet, I’ll probably be the last to blog about the bloggers meeting. I ended up getting there very late as I had my own cab ride from hell story…although it wasn’t anything like this one. You know you are in trouble when the cab driver picks you up at the hotel and asks, in extremely broken English, “do you know where that is?”. He then spent the next 30 minutes on the phone reading off every street name to his apparent navigator on the other end of the phone. That was a 45 minute cab ride to go about 4 miles in downtown San Francisco at 7:00 PM.
I didn’t meet as many people as I wanted to because of my cab ride but still had a great time both during the meeting and especially dinner afterwards. I’ll be like the 10th person to post the attendance list. Thank you to Martin McKeay, Richard Stiennon, Mircosoft and certainly others for making this happen. I am looking forward to this again next year.
