Did the U.S. Navy patent the firewall?….not exactly.

A post's title on Bruce Schnier's blog really caught my attention about the Navy being awarded a patent for what looked like a network firewall. This was also picked up by Slashdot. As it turns out this is probably not the case..seperating systems based on information classification is probably the intention.
