Your favorite Mac apps?

I have a shiny new MacBook Pro, finally. What are your favorite Mac apps? What should I not be without?

Thanks!

1Password hands down is one of the best apps you could own. It’s even better if you have an iPhone.

    Hi,

I went through the same exercise a while ago and wrote about it here:

Here are a few I use on a regular basis, I’m sure I am missing lots of other good ones:

TrueCrypt: Recently Made available for the Mac

iStat Pro Widget: Provides a quick view at system resources from the dashboard

Remote Desktop Connection version 2: In case you need access to a window box

Disk Inventory X: See what is taking up your hard drive space.

MenuMeters: Another system resource monitoring app

    Wiretap Pro: Audio recording

SnapzProX: Image and video capture software

Parallels: Couldn’t live without my vm’s

    MacTheRipper: Ripping DVD’s

LogMeIn Free: For remotely controlling your Mac.

    Mozy: Online backup

    Enjoy!

    Dan

CISSP will always have its value. It’s like living in the air but don’t really think of the importance of it. When you go for changing your job - all certs, and of course CISSP, come in handy. And not all, but some companies actually see these certs differently. Speaking from experience. If you have one - it’s worthwhile maintaining it - specially when the company pays - the employer should always pay (unless you can not justify yourself!!).
